FOO FIGHTERS & CHRIS CORNELL NOMINATED FOR 60TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS
Both the Foo Fighters and the late Chris Cornell received nods from the Grammy Awards. They've both been nominated for Best Rock Performance. The Foo Fighters, which were born after the sudden demise of Nirvana, in the mid-1990s, are nominated for their song Run and Chris Cornell, the former lead singer for Soundgarden and Audioslave, who passed away earlier this year, is nominated for his solo performance of The Promise.
