SKID ROW CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW SINGER

Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, legendary hard rock band Skid Row have announced they have selected a new lead singer, Justin Sargent. After an extensive, and dare I say exhaustive, global search - Sargent was found right where it all began for Skid Row: New Jersey.
In reflecting on the decision to have Sargent helm the spot made famous by Sebastian Bach, co-founder and bassist, Rachel Bolan had this to say: "Honestly, for me, it felt like he had been here from the beginning as soon as he walked in the room. He was one of us. A lifer. Then he sang with so much power and conviction, it blew me away. It was amazing.”
On the acheivement of being selected by Skid Row, the new singer added “I’ve been singing Skid Row songs for years, but never imagined I’d actually be joining the band! It’s an incredible honour to be part of something with such a legendary history. The chemistry and energy we’ve found together over the past several months has been amazing. I have tremendous respect for the band’s legacy, but I’m even more excited about what lies ahead. I can’t wait to get out there, connect with the fans, and give them everything I’ve got. Let’s go!”
To show off Justin's singing chops, Skid Row just released a cover version of The Who classic, Won't Get Fooled Again, as a limited, hand- signed 7" single, limited to 500 copies. The band also filmed a corresponding music video.
Wishing Mr. Sargent all the luck with his new gig and looking forward to sharing more about Skid Row's touring schedule.
