TWO ROCK LEGENDS ARE JOINING WILLIE NELSON'S OUTLAW MUSIC FESTIVAL TOUR
While I was initially on the fence about it, we are now carrying Willie Nelson shirts from some of the best brands in contemporary fashion including Daydreamer LA and LivyLu. The reason I was skeptical to carry them is probably the same reason you're thinking - Willie Nelson is a famous country artist - not rock and roll. And even though Rocker Rags is becoming more and more of an online fashion boutique focused not only on artists and bands, but on fashion brands - it's soul is still rock n' roll. However, after thinking about it - I decided let's go ahead with Willie Nelson, because aside from having a big crossover hit, in the early 1980s, with his song, On the Road Again, Willie is one of the most respected musicians and really true rebels in the music business today.
And...apparently I'm not the only one who thinks he's rock and roll, because he's embarking on his Outlaw Music Festival tour this year, and 2 legends of classic rock will be joining him on this tour: Robert Plant (with Allison Krauss) and John Fogerty.
While neither really needs an introduction, for those who might be reading this post but aren't familiar with the who's who of classic rock, Robert Plant is the former lyricist and lead singer of Led Zeppelin. John Fogerty was the lead singer and songwriter for Creedence Clearwater Revival (or CCR as they are often referred to).
Robert Plant and Allison Krauss will be performing at the first 3 shows of the Outlaw Music Festival while John Fogerty will be appearing at the last 3. All of the confirmed dates are listed below.
