JOURNEY TO TOUR WITH THE PRETENDERS IN 2020

JUST ANNOUNCED - Journey are embarking on a 60 date concert tour, with the Pretenders as their opening act.  Starting on May 15, 2020, at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Washington, the bands will perform all over the United States and Canada, concluding the tour on Sept. 12 at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York.  

Tickets will be available, to the general public, starting on November 8, at 10 a.m. (local times), although, for American Express cardholders, there will be a pre-sale beginning on November 4 and for Citi card holders, a pre-sale begins for you on November 5.  Both of these pre-sales also begin at 10 a.m. (local time).

Journey, who usually tour annually, took most of 2019 off, so that members of the band could focus on other projects.  However, they did do a handful of concerts, at casinos located in the Northeastern United States, plus 9 shows at Caesars Palace, in Las Vegas.  They have 4 more Las Vegas dates booked between December 27 - 31.

The Pretenders, meanwhile, were expected to release an album this year, but so far that has not yet come to fruition.  Lead singer Chrissie Hynde released a solo album, earlier this year, consisting primarily of jazz and standards covers, but threw in a few songs by the Kinks and Nick Drake, as well.
