Happy birthday to Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters singer, songwriter, guitarist and founder turns 47 today. Before forming the Foo Fighters in 1995, Dave had risen to world wide popularity as the drummer for Nirvana, during the height of the alternative grunge rock movement in the early-mid 1990s.
