First introduced on the band's album, Sticky Fingers, in 1971, the tongue and lips logo was designed by John Pasche and inspired by the Hindu goddess, Kali. Soon after appearing on the album, it was adopted as the band's official logo. Today it as synonymous with The Rolling Stones as their music.
