This vintage never worn Swatch watch, model GZ141, is called Eiga-Shi and was designed by the acclaimed film director, Akira Kurosawa, for the Swatch 100 Years of Cinema collection that the legendary watch brand released, in 1995, to commemorate the centennial of motion pictures.
Featuring Akira Kurosawa's signature, on the watch band, our Swatch is numbered 18,184 out of 36,500 and comes in a special Swatch watch case, designed to resemble a strip of film and includes both the original instruction manual and pamphlet which gives a little history on Akira Kurosawa's career and his design inspiration, for this Swatch.
