Description
This men's unisex vintage Soundgarden concert t-shirt is from the alternative rock band's 1994 Superunknown Tour.
This tour was performed to promote Soundgarden's most recent album at the time, also titled Superunknown. Released on March 8, 1994, Superunknown was Soundgarden's fourth studio album, but it was considered their breakthrough release. Five singles received heavy radio and MTV air play: The Day I Tried to Live, My Wave, Fell on Black Days, Spoonman and Black Hole Sun, with both Spoonman and Black Hole Sun receiving Grammy Awards. Superunknown has sold nine million copies worldwide, is certified five times Platinum and garnered Soundgarden a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. The Superunknown European tour, documented on this shirt, began right as the album was reaching store shelves in March 1994.
The front of our Soundgarden Superunkown tour tee spotlights the band's name and Superknown Tour 1994, while the back features similar graphics, along with a list of the cities and performance dates of the European concerts. This shirt is made from 100% soft black cotton with distressed effects, to the graphics, for a vintage look and feel.
