Ramones T-shirt - Presidential Seal Logo. Men's Black Shirt

This men's black Ramones tshirt features the punk rock band's classic presidential seal style logo with the band members' names on it, in white.

Formed in Forest Hills, New York, in 1974, Ramones are credited with defining the punk rock sound.  The four original members of Ramones all took the Ramone last name, although none of them were related to each other.  Over the course of 22 years, they toured constantly, performing 2,263 concerts before calling it quits in 1996.  Since that time, all four original members have passed away.  Even though Ramones only achieved limited success, commercially, they are considered one of the most influential and critically endeared bands in rock n roll history. 

The presidential seal logo, seen on this shirt, was created by Arturo Vega, a New York City based artist, who was a good friend of the band.  He is often credited as "The Fifth Ramone" as he attended all but 2 of the 2,263 Ramones concerts.  The inspiration for the presidential seal logo was found on a trip Arturo Vega took to Washington, DC, where he saw Ramones as the "all-American band."
