Our Blondie women's fashion t-shirt by Dirty Cotton Scoundrels features the year the band formed, 1974, on the front, along with Blondie NYC, the city where Blondie originated, on the back.
Founded by romantically involved couple, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, Blondie became synonymous with the New Wave and Punk Rock music of the mid-1970's and then pop music sensations in the late 1970's-early 1980's, with their infusion of disco and reggae, on songs like Heart of Glass and The Tide is High. With her pouty lips and bleach-blonde hair, Blondie's lead singer, Debbie Harry, embodied both rebel and sex symbol, simultaneously.
This Blondie juniors fitting tee is made from a 50% / 50% cotton-micro modal blend with distressed foil, to the graphics, to authenticate a vintage look and feel.
