Released in 1979, Eat to the Beat was Blondie's 4th studio album and featured a wide range of musical styles that Blondie had become recognized and respected for, including rock, disco, new wave, punk, reggae, funk and even lullaby. With the hits Dreaming, Atomic and The Hardest Part, Eat to the Beat was certified Platinum, in both the US and the UK, and became one of Billboard's top 10 albums of 1980.
