This Violent Femmes men's unisex vintage fashion tshirt spotlights the album cover artwork from the punk rock band's 1983 self-titled debut release.
Mostly recorded during July 1982, the Violent Femmes album reached store shelves, on vinyl and cassette, on April 13, 1983 and then as a CD, in 1987. Featuring some of Violent Femmes' best known songs including Blister in the Sun, Add It Up, and Gone Daddy Gone, the Violent Femmes' debut album set a real feat by reaching Gold 4 years after its initial release and then Platinum 4 years after that, before ever charting in the Billboard 200 album chart. Aside from its commercial success, Violent Femmes was also critically well received and is highly ranked as one of the best albums of the 1980s.
Made from 100% fitted black cotton, our Violent Femmes tee features a washed out version of the photograph of Billie Jo Campbell, the 3 year old girl, looking through the building window, which appeared on the front cover of the Violent Femmes' debut album.
