These vintage never worn Swatch watches are from Swatch's 100 Years of Cinema collection, released in 1995.

The 100 Years of Cinema collection was created, by Swatch, to celebrate the centennial of motion pictures and features the original 3 watches designed by the legendary filmmakers: Akira Kurosawa, Robert Altman and Pedro Almodovar. Limited to 36,500 pieces total for the entire world, each watch, in our collection, is individually numbered: Akira Kurosawa (18,184/36,500), Robert Altman (15,320/36,500), and Petro Almodovar (11,790/36,500) and feature the directors' signatures, on either the watch band or the watch's face.

Each watch comes with its original instruction manual, its special Swatch designed watch case customized to represent a strip of film and displaying the director's name, the original price tag and model number (Akira Kurosawa: GZ141, Pedro Almodovar: GZ142, Robert Altman: GZ143), along with a small pamphlet documenting a short history of each film director and their inspiration for the Swatch they designed.
