Our black Rolling Stones hoodie sweatshirt spotlights the band's classic tongue and lips logo.
This logo was originally designed by John Pasche, as the logo for Rolling Stones Records, and it first appeared on the Rolling Stones' album Sticky Fingers, in 1971. However, soon afterwards, it was adopted as the Rolling Stones' official logo. Inspired by the out stuck tongue of the Hindu goddess Kali, Rolling Stones' lead singer, Mick Jagger, told John Pasche to copy the design. Since its first appearance, in 1971, the tongue logo has become so synonymous with the Rolling Stones that one no longer needs to see the name of the band, with the logo, to still know it's referring to the Rolling Stones.
This black Stones tongue logo hoody is made from a 50%/50% polyester-cotton blend, and features distressed effects, for an authentic vintage look.
