Our Queen t-shirt spotlights a classic photograph of Freddie Mercury, the rock band's flamboyant lead singer, holding up the British Union Jack flag.
This photo was originally taken during Queen's performance in Budapest, Hungary, in 1986, where they were one of the few Western rock bands allowed to perform in the then Communist Eastern bloc of Europe. Documented in the concert film Hungarian Rhapsody, Queen Live in Budapest, this show was performed on July 27, 1986, as part of Queen's The Magic Tour, which turned out to be the band's final tour, with Freddie Mercury, as he was diagnosed with AIDS in 1987, and the band decided to cease performing.
Made from 100% white cotton, this men's tee shows a black and white photo of Freddie Mercury, with the Union Jack flag in color, and the Freddie Mercury name, underneath.
