Originally released on October 10, 1995, Tragic Kingdom was the third studio album for No Doubt, and the one that catapulted the band from relatively unknown to superstar status. Produced by Matthew Wilder, of 1980s Break My Stride song fame, Tragic Kingdom was recorded over a period of 2 1/2 years. The album, certified Diamond, with over 16 million copies sold, contains some of No Doubt's most popular songs, including Just a Girl, Don't Speak and Spiderwebs. Most of the lyrics on Tragic Kingdom were written by lead singer Gwen Stefani which was a departure for No Doubt, as all songs on their previous 2 albums had been written by keyboardist Eric Stefani, who left the band shortly after the band completed recording Tragic Kingdom. Tragic Kingdom garnered No Doubt two Grammy Award nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rock Album and is ranked at number 441 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In addition, due to the ska music elements heard on Tragic Kingdom, the album helped spur a revival in the genre causing record labels to sign more ska bands.
Our No Doubt Tragic Kingdom men's white 100% cotton tee spotlights the artwork seen on the front cover of the album.
