METALLICA TO TOUR NORTH AMERICA IN 2018
Metallica have confirmed a second North American leg of their WorldWired Tour. The first leg of this tour concluded back in August, 2017, in Edmonton, Alberta. The band, along with concert promoter Live Nation and a number of concert venues, teased Metallica fans this past Friday with a series of social media posts that simply said "Monday." The North American WorldWired shows will commence on September 2, in Madison, Wisconsin and conclude around this time next year, on March 3, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Currently, Metallica are in the midst of a European tour which is being performed to promote, as did the first WorldWired North American tour along with the upcoming second leg being discussed here, Metallica's latest album, Hardwired...to Self Destruct. This current European tour will conclude in Helsinki, Finland on May 11.
Comedian Jim Breuer, and a DJ, will act as the openers for the upcoming WorldWired North American tour, and $598 will get you Black Tickets, which will allow floor access to any Metallica show on the tour. More info is available on Metallica’s website, but here are the confirmed dates so far:
