BRIAN WILSON PASSES AWAY AT AGE 82

Brian Wilson, the prolific songwriter, singer, record producer and co-founder of the legendary rock band, the Beach Boys, has passed away, at the age of 82.
Although often tormented by mental illness in his personal life, Brian is admired by his fans and peers in the music industry alike, including Elton John, The Who's Keith Moon and Paul McCartney to name a few. Brian was a true innovator in terms of song writing and mastery of recording techniques and is both recognized and respected as one of the very first musicians and producers to incorporate the recording studio as a musical instrument.
The Beach Boys' album, Pet Sounds, produced and primarily composed by Brian is currently listed at #2 in Rolling Stone Magazine's "Top 500 Albums of All Time" ranking, just behind The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
Brian passed away on June 11, 2025, with no cause of death announced. RIP Brian.
