AC/DC RELEASING ACOUSTIC ALBUM

Do you remember, back in the 1990s, MTV had this really successful program called, Unplugged?  It was a show where major rock bands unplugged from the amplifiers, put away their electric guitars and performed their best known songs, acoustically.  Many times the songs recorded during the program would be released as an official Unplugged album.

The legendary hard rock band, AC/DC, was asked multiple times to perform on Unplugged, but rather than follow the trend, they bucked it and continued to release face melting rock grooves powered by electric guitars and amplifiers.

Well, in a dramatic change of tune, if you will, AC/DC have both recorded and set a summer 2025 for their first, and quite possibly only, album featuring acoustic versions of their best known songs.  Titled ACousDiC, this soon to be released anthology will feature powered down versions of:

2. It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll)
3. Thunderstruck
4. Hail Caesar
5. Stiff Upper Lip
6. Let There Be Rock
7. TNT
8. Back In Black
9. The Jack
10. Highway To Hell
11. Jailbreak
12. Shake Your Foundations
13. For Those About To Rock

There is no official release date, other than summer 2025, nor any image of the album art, so keep your eyes and ears open.  If I happen to get info on the actual release date, I'll update this post to reflect.
