Our Grateful Dead concert tshirt is from the classic jam band's April 8, 1972 Wembley Empire Pool performance, in London, England. Three songs from this show are featured on the Grateful Dead's live album, Europe '72. This album, which documented the band's tour of Europe, including the Wembley Empire Pool concert on this shirt, saw a change in personnel for the Grateful Dead. Drummer Mickey Hart had left leaving Bill Kreutzmann as the sole drummer. Keith Godchaux was brought in to assist on keyboards as original founding member, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, was in ill health. Keith's wife, Donna, was also hired for backup vocals.
This shirt spotlights the Grateful Dead Wembley Empire Pool London, England show name along with the classic Vector lightning skull logo with the Union Jack British flag taking the place of the lightning. This tee is made from 100% navy blue ring spun cotton and features washed out effects to the graphics for a vintage look and feel.
