This vintage Dokken tshirt spotlights the album cover artwork from Tooth and Nail. Released by Elektra Records on September 13, 1984 Tooth and Nail is Dokken's second studio album. It got its name after Dokken's management struggled relentlessly to convince Elektra executives to give Dokken a second chance after the failure of the band's debut album. In addition, recording was halted as the original producer, Tom Werman, left the Tooth and Nail project weeks into the album's production and was replaced by famed producers Roy Thomas Baker and Michael Wagner. Furthermore, Dokken's lead singer, Don Dokken, and the band's guitarist, George Lynch had a clash of egos and couldn't be in the studio together. Despite the difficulties, Tooth and Nail was completed and reached number 49 on the Billboard 200, driven by the single Alone Again. The album was eventually certified Platinum in 1989.
Our men's Dokken tee displays the artwork seen on the front cover of Tooth and Nail. Made from 100% black fitted cotton, the graphics and materials feature washed out effects for a true vintage look and feel.
