Released on July 6, 1981, High n Dry is Def Leppard's second studio album but their last with original band member, Pete Willis. Considered a blend of heavy metal and hard rock, High n Dry featured the classic rock standard, Bringin' on the Heatrbreak while the album's title track, High n Dry (Saturday Night) is listed at No. 33 on VH-1's 40 Greatest Metal Songs. While High n Dry was originally released in 1981, due to the success of Def Leppard's follow up release, Pyromania, High n Dry was re-issued in 1984, with additional tracks and, subsequently, re-entered the charts.
