Our Metallica men's tshirt spotlights the Ride the Lightning album cover artwork.

Released on July 27, 1984, Ride the Lightning was the second studio album by Metallica, and though rooted in the thrash metal genre, Ride the Lightning displayed Metallica's growth, musically, due to bassist Cliff Burton introducing the rest of Metallica to musical theory. The end result comprised of the use of more acoustic guitars, longer instrumentation and compound harmonies. Ride the Lightning was also the last Metallica album to feature songwriting contributions from Dave Mustaine, who was let go from Metallica and formed Megadeath. Ride the Lightning was critically well received and is listed on many best album lists, and by 2012, had been certified 6X Platinum.

Our Metallica Ride the Lightning men's unisex tee is made from 100% black cotton and features the artwork of the electric chair being struck by lightning, stemming from the Metallica logo, as seen on the front cover of Ride the Lightning. The back of this shirt displays the classic Metallica logo of a man being electrocuted in an electric chair.
