The Use Your Illusion albums were the third and fourth studio releases by Guns N' Roses, and both reached record store shelves, on the same day, September 17, 1991. Both of the Use Your Illusions albums are 7 times Platinum with Use Your Illusion 1 being nominated for a 1992 Grammy Award. While still considered hard rock, the Use Your Illusion albums saw Guns N' Roses maturing a bit musically, incorporating elements of blues, classical music, punk rock and classic rock, along with additional instrumentation, such as the piano and keyboards, along with longer compositions.
